Dear New Zealand Transport Agency,

Further to OIA 17257, please provide further information on the Asset Management Data Standard programme.

1. Did NZTA identify any successful implementations of data standards (for transport infrastructure assets) outside of New Zealand, and did that influence the Case for Change outlined in the business case?

2. At the outset of the programme, how many asset management systems vendors did NZTA identify as having active customer bases in New Zealand?

3. Re the capabilities identified in table 18 ‘Required Services’. What contracts were entered into by NZTA, what are the values / total spend of those contracts, and what procurement activities were undertaken by NZTA to select providers for those contracts?

4. When does the programme expect that financial benefits (outlined in the 'Preferred Option' section of the business case) will be measurable? Has the estimated value of these financial benefits been revised since the business case was published?
