is free to access. Users must be able to access,
share and consume the data without fees or
restricted use.
• The network model must be available in a format
that can be consumed by common digital platforms
used within the New Zealand transport sector.
• The network model must be designed to be
managed and maintained within NZTA’s current
digital environment. NZTA uses ArcGIS as its
geospatial platform.
• The network model must support planning,
management, analysis and reporting of land
transport assets and functions.
• The network model must include or enable:
o direction of flow (movement of people,
