6th March, Mayor Weston statement to Ruapehu Bulletin
Ohakune Ratepayers and Residents' Society Inc made this Official Information request to Ruapehu District Council
Response to this request is long overdue. By law Ruapehu District Council should have responded by now (details and exceptions). The requester can complain to the Ombudsman.
From: Ohakune Ratepayers and Residents' Society Inc
Dear Ruapehu District Council,
On 6th March, Mayor Weston made a statement in the Ruapehu Bulletin (https://assets-global.website-files.com/...) page 3,
quote "We had a unique situation where we were able to provide the land and help increase good housing stock without any cost to ratepayers"
We have already requested the information back in September where an OIA has gone unanswered and is still awaiting response; We would like to see the budgets and working outs to prove how this could be done with no cost to ratepayers.
Question: Please provide documents, formulas, spreadsheets or any other form of evidence to support the statement by Mr Weston on 6th March that there would be no cost to ratepayers.
Yours faithfully,
Ohakune Ratepayers and Residents' Society Inc
