Dear Auckland Transport,

Queen Street Special Vehicle Lane.

Auckland Transport installed a Special Vehicle lane in Queen Street between Wakefield street and Wellesley street.
From the period 03-July-2022 to 22-Mar-2023 Unauthorised vehicles travelling in that lane were issued a warning letter.
Commencing 23-Mar-2023 live enforcements without warning commenced.

I request under the Official Information Act the following information:

1. How many warning letters were issued to drivers of unofficial vehicles travelling in this special vehicle lane between the period 03-July-2022 to 22-Mar-2023
2. How many infringement notices have been issued between 23-Mar-2022 and 30-Nov 2023 for unauthorised vehicles driving through this special vehicle lane.
3. How many of the infringement notices issued between 23-Mar-2023 and 30-Nov-2023 for vehicles travelling through this special vehicle lane have been enforced.

I have checked our logs and confirmed we had a protocol response from AT's mail server accepting handover of the original email message, meaning AT's email systems (Proofpoint and Exchange) will have dropped it without notification.

(Essential Vehicle Area) between Wellesley Street East and Wakefield
Street (zone QSEVA1).
