On behalf of the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment I
acknowledge your email of 16^th December 2022 requesting under the
Official Information Act 1982 (the Act), the following:

 

‘Please find my OIA request below, which relates to NPDC's implementation
of 5G. I’m requesting ALL information regarding 5G Masts, small cells,
Antennas and lighting within NPDC’s area of operations. I’m also seeking
to clarify the frequencies & levels of radiation being emitted by each
local mast, small cell, antenna and lighting In invercargill region,  And
do the smart UV /Led street lights have cameras in them. IM Also
Requesting Any Information Regarding the use of Quantum Physics, 
Technology , in the skies of Southland  it appears to be a network of
Drones , connected to Quantum dots or nodes , Appears to  look Like an
Algorithm of a human brain, Nodes representing,  neurons , Or possiblly
Neuro link , If I am requesting from the Wrong department please refer
this to the appropriate one , I am open to have The requested information
given to me privately if need be’

 

Please note that days between 25 December 2022 to 15 January 2023
(inclusive) are defined as non- working days in the Act and are not
counted in the calculation for the response due date. This will affect the
time period for responding to your request.

Good afternoon Kieran

This email is in response to your information request sent to MBiE on the 16th December - part of your email has been referred to this council to respond - specifically in relation to whether the streetlights have cameras in them.

I can confirm that staff have checked the engineering drawings and can confirm that we do not have cameras in our street lighting.
