Dear Auckland Transport,

Please provide (electronically) all pertinent information relating to the Carpool Carpark "Trial" instituted at Birkenhead Wharf (Hinemoa Street) on 1 October 2010 and its ongoing running.

This trial finished on 30 September 2011, but, to date, remains in place.

I wish to see:
Documentation that details the reasoning behind this scheme
The success criteria for the 'trial'
The methods by which these criteria were measured

Following an enquiry via your website, I was advised by email by a "Lavina" in your office on 17 May 2013 that:

"Your enquiry has been referred to our Parking and Enforcement team, as advised Auckland Transport is currently reviewing the parking restrictions on Hinemoa Street leading to the Birkenhead Ferry Terminal.

Once the review is completed a proposal cover various aspects of parking will be released for public consultation."

I then enquired again earlier this year and was advised via email by a "Joe" in your office on 25 July 2014:

"We apologise for unforeseen circumstances that have led to delays in finalising a review of the car pool parking at the Birkenhead Ferry Terminal and hope you will bear with us while we complete this evaluation.

We are at present unable to provide you with a timeframe of when we will be able to advise you of the outcome."

Please also advise:
What the Terms of Reference are for this evaluation
What data is being used in this evaluation
How this data was collected
When this evaluation will be complete
What reason there is for a delay of over 12 months for a data analysis task
