Dear Auckland Council,

My brother Dylan and i were assaulted outside of forte bar in Auckland central (2 Fort Ln, Auckland) sometime between 1am and 4am on 7/11/2014 The police are not helping at all and i would like to request a copy of the footage outside on the night in question. I have reason to believe this was a hate crime because my brother is gay. this attack was completely unprovoked and has had a severe impact on my brother and I. If you could please help me to serve justice to these awful people we may be able to have some closure and our lives can go back to normal. This event has really shaken our view on the nz police and people in general.
