check: staff surveys
1. We are writing further to your request for information dated 8
September 2022 regarding Fact check: staff surveys.
2. You requested:
Napier's deputy mayor has told RNZ (8/09/22) that:
<All of our staff surveys and all of the anecdotal conversations and
things I'm hearing is that people are really enjoying working at Napier
City.>
Can you please confirm from the last three staff surveys whether the

3. Response:
In the case of the last three staff surveys, the results have not
confirmed that a majority of staff are “really enjoying” working at Napier
City Council. You will find attached the high level employee engagement
survey report released earlier this year.
We note that the three surveys did not ask the same questions and also did
not specifically ask whether staff are “really enjoying” working at the
Council.
