Hi Andrew,
I refer to your request for information about Research and Evaluation Unit
(RIMU).
The Research and Evaluation Unit manages many research and monitoring
programmes including environmental monitoring, data collection and
evidence analysis on a range of topics as directed by council’s strategic
plans and policy documents, including the Auckland Plan 2050 and Te
Târuke-â-Tâwhiri: Auckland's Climate Plan.
We consider that your request would require substantial collation and
research in its current form. In order to help us to find the right
information for you, can you please provide more information about the
research project topics that you are interested in. For example, are you
interested in reports relating to planning?
Please note all published research reports from November 2010 to 2022 are
available on the Auckland Council’s website for technical publications -
Knowledge Auckland [1]www.knowledgeauckland.org.nz. To find reports for a
particular year, please enter these search terms in the search box:
TR2022/ | TR2021/ | TR2020/ etc.
Knowledge Auckland includes council’s published technical reports,
discussion papers, research briefs and other technical publications. For
more information about Knowledge Auckland, please contact
[2][email address] directly.
Can you please let me know the research project topics that you are
interest in by 5pm Wednesday 13 July, and we will reconsider your request.
Otherwise it is likely your request will be refused under section 17(f)
of the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987, being
that the information requested cannot be made available without
substantial collation or research.
If you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to contact me
regarding this request.
