New Zealand Police
Dear Mr Pritchard
I refer to your request received on 12 August 2014 under the Official
Information Act 1982 (OIA) relating to information on the number of
criminal offences in Lower Hutt for the years 2011 to 2013.
Police reports statistics based on Police Station area, rather than Local
Authority boundaries. For this response I have included the following
Police Stations as aligning approximately to the boundaries of Lower Hutt
City: Eastbourne, Lower Hutt, Naenae, Petone and Wainuiomata.
Attached are tables showing the number of recorded offences broken down by
offence division and by Police Station for Lower Hutt City for the years
ending 31 December 2011 to 2013.
I trust this information meets your needs.
Yours sincerely
Gavin Knight
