Dear Napier City Council,

My car was crashed into while I was at work and it was parked in the
Vautier Street carpark, 99 Vautier street, Napier. I am aware one of your
buildings backs on to this carpark and I ask desperately if you please
have any security cameras that cover this area, even slightly. If you do I
wish to work with police to request access to these for the duration my
car was parked in this location.

1.     Further to your request for information dated 11 February 2022,
regarding CCTV: Vautier Street carpark, we are now able to provide you
with Napier City Council’s response.

 

2.     You requested:

 

My car was crashed into while I was at work and it was parked in the

Council does not operate CCTV cameras at the Vautier Street carpark at 99
Vautier Street, Napier.

 

Council responds to requests for CCTV footage from NZ Police in the
investigation of alleged offences

and you are recommended to work with investigating officers regarding this
issue.
