Tisian Kereama made this Official Information request to New Zealand Transport Agency
Response to this request is long overdue. By law New Zealand Transport Agency should have responded by now (details and exceptions). The requester can complain to the Ombudsman.
From: Tisian Kereama
Dear New Zealand Transport Agency,
Good Morning
I have 3 requests to ask in relation to whether a specific area has CCTV Cameras in the vacinity.
And if so I would like to request for a copy. And if request for a copy is not sucessful how do i go about obtaining a copy.
Does NZ Transport have CCTV cameras between the locations listed below incl traffic light cameras?
Area: South Auckland, Takanini
Location: Cnr of Grahams Rd & Great South Rd, Takanini
continuing through to:
Traffic lights on Great South Rd & Taka Street, Takanini
Heading from Papakura towards Manurewa, South Auckland
Date: 25/02/2017
Between the time of 5:20pm - 5:30pm
Object Needing footage of: Vehicle Dark Blue, Holden Commodore Saloon with Dark Tinted windows, Modified and Lowered.
Reason: Car has crashed into White Ford Fairmont and fleed the scene. Car will be driving down median strip/middle lane with damage to front of vehicle, but once police arrived and traffic lights changed from red to green driver has then taken off at speed. Number plate unknown due to impaired vision.
And if you do have any footage of this can i please request a still close up of vehicle involved from different angles if available? Needing any footage that can help for identification purposes and to recover damages caused through civil court, Medical & Vehicle Damages.
**Add on: i have definitely seen a cctv camera on the cnr of Mahia Rd & Great sth Rd, manurewa that the Blue Holden has driven through after almost crashing into another driver on the same day around the same time.
Could i also please be provided with footage from this camera or a still copy of the vehicle in question.
Thank You
Yours faithfully,
T.Kereama
