Car impounded need Infomation

Dear Independent Police Conduct Authority,
my vehicle ARU493 is currently at the jamiesons towage yard for no apparent reason, i have tried to find out why from both toweys and police but to no avail, i went to the courts whom also said there was no impound or seziure notices pertaining to my vehicle yet the towyard tells me i must pay as the police impounded this vehicle yet there seems to be no information apart from badge number JSER58 i think there is some mistake here and i would like my car back
