Good afternoon 
I refer to your request for information made under the Official
Information Act 1982
You have asked for:
I request the incident report on the alleged bomb threat at St Peters
school in Cambridge and any other relevant details like when, what, where
it came from etc.
I also like to request the details around the number of police officers
and which units that attended and whether there was any specialised units
also attended etc.
I have considered your request under the OIA 1982, and have attached a
copy of the Police Case Summary Report requested.  
Please note that redaction's have been made to this report pursuant to
S.9(2)(a) of the Official Information Act 1982 - Protect the Privacy of
the Natural Person
I can also advise you of the following;
13 May 2021

* This incident was initially dealt with by a Sgt based out of Te
Awamutu to assess what further resourcing was required and what action
the school would be taking in light of the threat.
* Police from both Te Awamutu and Cambridge provided reassurance patrols
when available.

 14 May 2021

* The Cambridge based Sgt took over control liaising with the school and
the Police Specialist Search Group from Auckland that consisted of 8
staff. 

Please consider this request now closed.
You have the right to ask the Ombudsman to review my decision if you are
not satisfied with Police’s response to your request.
