Thank you for your below request to Police.

Your request is currently too broad to answer and would require clarification. Police consider public interest to multiple situations and scenarios. Are you able to clarify what specific incident you may be referring to?

If a response is not received by 10 June 2025, your request will be closed. Once your request has been closed, a new request will need to be submitted if you wish to pursue the same request.

From: F.smith

Dear Ministerial Services,

I'm not sure how to word this right.
I'm after the information on how police decides public interest when it comes to police employees. Cases like when it ends up on media.
Things like when a police officer stomps on a person and isn't charged due to not in the public interest.
Like I said. Any polices, police manual and other information on how this public interest works and what not.

Yours sincerely,

F.smith
