only kept for a short time before it is overwritten and we do want to

We are unable to provide you with the information you asked for.

 

On 6/05/2021 you asked for CCTV footage for an incident on a motorway
onramp. I have emailed you on a number of occasions to ascertain the
precise location. 

 

Unfortunately as I have not had a response from you, this case has now
been closed. CCTV footage is generally only kept for 7 days and it is then
overwritten. 

 

We understand that this isn’t the outcome you hoped for and I do apologise
that we could not have assisted more on this occasion. 

 

You have the right to ask the Ombudsman to review how we’ve responded to
your official information request. You can contact the Ombudsman at
www.ombudsman.parliament.govt.nz.
