Dear Porirua City Council,

PCC is to be commended in making publicly available (via its website) much
of the information relating to this proposed plan change and the statutory
process.

However, I note that there is no information on the Council's website
about the process resulting in the appointment of the five commissioners
on the hearing panel.

I would expect that this information would comprise:
- a record of the decision by the person(s) with the delegated
authority(ies) to appoint the five commissioners;
- a copy of the recommendation report that the person(s) with the
delegated authority(ies) relied upon; and,
- all the information used to make that recommendation [this would
presumably include copies of requests for service and fee proposals,
offers of service and fee proposal (incl. CVs), evaluation of the
respective merits of the various offers of service and fee proposals].

Under the LGOIMA the information I request is:
- will the Council be posting information of this nature about the
appointment of the hearing panel for PC18 on its website;
- if not why not; and,
- if so, when.
