Special Work Visa for Building and Construction Workers
Adam Irish made this Official Information request to Ministry of Business, Innovation & Employment
The request was successful.
From: Adam Irish
Dear Ministry of Business, Innovation & Employment,
I wish to request under the Official Information Act information related to the proposed KiwiBuild Visa. In the 2017 election the Labour party policy was to introduce a temporary work visa "KiwiBuild Visa" to increase the number of builders assist construction and alleviate the housing crisis. What progress was made on this temporary work visa scheme and if it wasn't progressed why was this.
Yours faithfully,
Adam Irish
