I request under the Official Information Act all information and policy work on fair pay agreement that may be useful to the public or a future government.
The constant changes of government shouldn't mean that tax payer funds are used to start from scratch again each time a government switches over.

Please note that the days from 25 December 2023 to 15 January 2024
(inclusive) are defined as non- working days in the Act and are not
counted in the calculation for the response due date. This may affect the
time period for responding to your request.
We will endeavour to respond to your request as soon as possible, and no
later than 16 January, being 20 working days after the day your request
was received. If we are unable to respond to your request by then, we will
notify you of an extension of that timeframe. If you have any enquiries

Dear Adam
I haven’t heard from you since my email a week ago, so am following up. I
am still keen to talk with you please about tailoring the scope of your
request, which was for “all information and policy work on fair pay
agreement that may be useful to the public or a future government”.
To give an idea of the scale, my team has been working on Fair Pay
Agreements since approximately 2017, and several teams in other parts of
MBIE have been working on it since the FPA Act came into force last year.
So I’m sure you’ll understand that in addition to the advice to the
Minister which has been proactively released (links are in my email
below), a lot of information has been created over that time. If we aren’t
able to narrow the scope, I’ll need to decline the request on the ground
of substantial collation.

or
o Are you requesting any previous briefings that have gone to the
Minister for Workplace Relations and Safety before the 2023 General
Election, other than those that have been proactively released?
Please let us know by 22 December 2023.

On 19 December 2023 we asked you to clarify whether you intended to
request:
o only briefings that have gone to the new Minister for Workplace
Relations and Safety (since the 2023 General Election); or
o previous briefings that have gone to the Minister for Workplace
Relations and Safety before the 2023 General Election, other than
those that have been proactively released.
We asked you to clarify your request by 22 December 2023. To date we have
not received a response from you.
We intend to proceed with your request on the basis that you are asking
for briefings that have gone to the Minister for Workplace Relations and
Safety after the 2023 General Election.
If you are unsatisfied with this approach please further clarify your
request by 19 January 2024.
