On behalf of the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment I

Information Act 1982 (the Act), the following:

‘I request under the Official Information all information that may be
useful to the public or a future government on the national income
insurance scheme.

Significant public funds have been spent of policy work and this should be
retained so that a future government doesn't have to pay for the work
again should it wish to proceed with this policy.

Please note that the days from 25 December 2023 to 15 January 2024
(inclusive) are defined as non- working days in the Act and are not
counted in the calculation for the response due date. This may affect the
time period for responding to your request.
