“I wish to request under the Official Information Act the new target
number of properties to be build under the Kiwi Build Program.

 

In 2018, the aim was to build 100,000 homes by 2028 to increase housing
affordability in New Zealand. That was then reneged on by Minister Woods
when she became the housing Minister. What now is the new target or
projections that are being aimed for.

 

I would also like to request the number of new properties to be build in
Auckland and Wellington over the next 5 years

 

This email is to advise you that your request has been transferred to
Kainga Ora Homes and Communities.

 

This is because the information you have requested is not held by the
Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment.  Section 14(b)(i) of the
Official Information Act allows me to transfer any request where the
information is not held, but is believed to be held by another department,
organisation or Minister of the Crown.
