Dear Ministry of Health,
Thank you for your response and request for clarification. I'll define "digital contact tracing" as any use of digital technology to assist with contact tracing processes. I think within the MOH this can be divided in two ways - digital technology used to assist human contact tracers in their jobs (e.g. databases and CRM systems), and digital technology used to help individuals support contact tracing and receive exposure notifications (e.g. NZ COVID Tracer). I am primarily interested in the latter, and would like to request information about budgeting for NZ COVID Tracer and any other work associated with that app, broken down by function (e.g. technical development, marketing and advertising, technical support, policy development), and how that allocation of funding changed over the last year.

Yours faithfully,
Andrew Chen
