Breakdown of WCC parking revenue and what it is used to fund

M.R. Poulsen made this Official Information request to Wellington City Council

This request has an unknown status. We're waiting for M.R. Poulsen to read a recent response and update the status.

From: M.R. Poulsen

Dear Wellington City Council,

I noticed a comment on Facebook earlier today (08/05/2020) from the WCC page stating:
"[...] Parking funds important community groups like the Sexual Abuse Prevention Network. We have not charged for parking for 7 weeks, but now that more people are returning to work, we need to enforce parking to keep spaces turning over so everyone has a chance to find a park, and to support organisations like SAPN."

I would like to request the total amount of parking revenue collected by the WCC council over the past three years along with a breakdown of where it goes and what it funds.

Specifically, I would like to know what percentage of parking revenue from Wellington City goes to fund the Sexual Abuse Prevention Network.

Yours faithfully,
M.R. Poulsen
