Cause of delay of my last OIA.
Andrew Crow made this Official Information request to New Zealand Police
The request was partially successful.
From: Andrew Crow
Dear New Zealand Police,
I am interested in the cause of delays to my OIA that was submitted November last year and answered today.
The OIA was many weeks late and no extension was requested.
That OIA was with subject “Policy around asking for ID for OIA requests”
Based on the documents I received the pages where printed on 31/01/2020, this would have been significantly after the due date yet still 10 working days before the documents released.
Under OIA I request:
1. All internal emails related to my last request.
2. Any memo’s about my OIA, including recommendations about what to release.
3. A timeline of when the OIA was received, when the documents where located, and when the OIA was approved for release.
4. Any other documents that would allow the public to understand why the request was so late in response.
Yours faithfully,
Andrew Crow
New Zealand Police
