Use of PR staff during Mayoral Scandal

Dear Auckland Council,
I would like to know whether any ratepayer funds have been spent on public relations officers / spin doctors during the last week in relation to the scandal surround Mayor Len Brown.
Len has been very clear that the scandal is a private affair and so I assume that no public funds, or publicly funded staff, have been used in relation to the press coverage of Len's affair.
If any have been used the please let me know the approximate number of hours and approximate cost to Auckland from this use of publicly funded staff on private business.
