Dear Whanganui District Health Board,

Pursuant to the Official Information Act 1982 please provide copies of all Asbestos Management Plans prepared under Regulation 13(2) of the Health and Safety at Work (Asbestos) Regulations 2016 for all workplaces occupied or from time to time occupied by the District Health Board where asbestos or ACM (Asbestos Containing Material) is suspected to be or has been identified at the workplace.

Is there an issue with your systems? I've not received any acknowledgment of the initial request nor anything from the DHB since.

Please advise as I'll be forwarding the non-response onto the Ombudsmans Office early next week if nothing is forthcoming

I've asked the DHB if there is there an issue with their systems as I've not received any acknowledgment of the initial request nor anything from the DHB since.

Dear Whanganui District Health Board,

What is happening with this request?

I've not had a formal acknowledgement or anything else from the DHB to date. The 20 working days are well and truly passed.

I appreciate that the COVID-19 emergency has overtaken many events but this request was made well before this was an issue within New Zealand.

I will revisit this request once we come out of the National Emergency lock-down and will, at that point, consider if I should go direct to the Ombudsmans Office.

Follow up letter sent, acknowledging COVID-19 but asking why they hadn't originally responded or acknowledged.
Also advised that I'll review again once we are out of the state of National Emergency lock-down, and will consider at that oint if I go direct to the Ombudsmans Office

It has come to my attention that the Whanganui District Health Board link on the FYI website was incorrect and OIA requests have not been forwarded to our OIA administrator (currently me) for actioning.

This includes your request dated 25 March 2020.

I apologise that this issue was not picked up until. The problem has been fixed.

Can you please advise if you would like to reinstate your OIA request.
