Dear South Taranaki District Council,
When we were trying to sell the property at 257 Princes Street Hawera a number of buyers who made offers dropped out after visiting the council and being told that the building was full of asbestos.
1. Who if any report was done to determine if this was so.
2. Were any samples taken and submitted to a proper test by a qualified agency. or was this just someone thinking there was to try and drive the price down?
3. If a report was done as the then owners of the property we should have been told and given a copy.
