Subject: Official Information request - Documents relating to Ōtuataua /
Ihumātao

Dear New Zealand Police,
As of early August 2019, there is a police presence in various locations
near Ōtuataua / Ihumātao / 36.985792°S 174.754055°E to “to uphold the law
and keep the peace.”
I request copies of written documents, reports, memos, plans, letters,
notes, emails, communications, strategies, budgets, draft documents and
photography (including digital and conventional; still and video;
handheld, drone and fixed) held by the police now or at any time in the
next month in relation to or generated by this police action, or to
incidental matters within 3km of the coordinates given above.
I would like the content in the highest quality available to the police.
For photography, this means the highest resolution images with EXIF and
other metadata; for documents this means original emails, word or PDF
documents rather than scanned paper documents. Metadata in these documents
is part of what I am requesting.
In the case that some material is refused due to on-going police
action(s), I request a multiple-part response, that material not covered
being sent as soon as practically possible, and that material covered as
soon as the related action(s) has completed.
I am a New Zealand citizen.
