From: Hugh Davenport

Dear Wellington Regional Council,

I saw on facebook that a bus hit a parked car while pulling into a bus stop. The link to this post is https://www.facebook.com/groups/vicdeals...

I would like to know whether the driver gave their name, address and vehicle registration, and also the name and address of the owner of the vehicle they were driving to the owner or driver of the vehicle that was damaged. I would like to know how long after the incident this was done, and whether it was done later than 48 hours after the crash. (this information is required as per the road code, https://www.nzta.govt.nz/resources/roadc...).

If the driver was unable to give the information above due to not knowing the owner or the driver of the vehicle, I would like to know whether the driver informed a Police officer at any time, and how long after the incident the Police officer was informed, and whether it was more than 60 hours after the crash.

The bus information: Route 1GV, LME492.
The car information: unknown
The crash location: Courtney Place by St James, Wellington, bus stop 5002
The crash time: 7th January 2019, 3:28pm.

Yours faithfully,

Hugh Davenport
