Highest density of electric vehicles in New Zealand

Dear James,

As we know, it is essential that New Zealanders switch to a low carbon lifestyle. A big part of that is changing from using old fashioned petrol and diesel fueled cars, to new and exciting electric vehicles. As part of this move to electric vehicles, I would like to know the area in New Zealand that has the highest density of electric cars per head of population. Given that a postal address must be given when registering the sale of cars it should be possible to calculate statistics on the number of electric cars in the different postcodes in the country, and then compare that to habitation densities throughout the country. Knowing the highest density of electric cars will allow for the focussing of promotional effort to those places where the highest impact may be had.

I would also like to know if there is a record of more than, say, four electric vehicles being owned in any one street.
