The Vice-Chancellor has hosted a single table of University supporters and
donors at the following two NZ Initiative events:

 

·        Dinner Lecture with Stephen Jennings, SKYCITY Auckland Convention
Centre, Thursday 14 July 2016 - Member table of 10 cost: $2,750.00

·        Katharine Birbalsingh Dinner Lecture, Auckland War Memorial
Museum, Thursday, 31 May 2018 - Member table of 10 cost: $1,500.00

 

The University has not provided funding or any other support to the New
Zealand Initiative. No decision was made to become a member of the New
Zealand Initiative – the University became a non-fee paying member of the
New Zealand Initiative as it had been a member of the New Zealand
Institute (the New Zealand Initiative was the product of a merger between
the New Zealand Institute and the New Zealand Business Roundtable).
