Please provide me with all correspondence with or regarding the NZ Initiative for the last 12 months. Please also provide all funding and in kind support provided to the NZ Initiative for each of the last five financial years, indicating the purpose of the funding. Finally, please provide me with any reports or other material describing or evaluating the benefits that University of Auckland receives for this investment.

Dear Mr Russell,
I refer to your request of 22 July 2018. We have been unable to locate any information about funding or support in kind for the NZ Initiative or any reports or other material describing or evaluating benefits of any support. Your requests for these documents are refused under s 18(e) of the Official Information Act 1982.
In relation to your request for all correspondence with or regarding the NZ Initiative in the last 12 months, this information cannot be made available without substantial collation or research. Neither extending the time limit nor fixing a charge would enable the request to be granted. This request is refused under s 18(f) of the Official Information Act.
You have the right to seek an investigation and review of this response by way of a complaint to an Ombudsman.
