I am writing in relation to your request for information under the
Official Information Act:

 

I would like to request the total number of hours that have been spent
working in your Collections, Research and Learning Directorate for which
Te Papa did not provide compensation in the form of a salary or wage. I
would like this number for the financial years 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014,
2015, 2016, 2017.

 

I would like the total numbers of unpaid hours worked in this department
for each of the above financial years. I would also like to know how many
hours were spent by volunteers, university students doing course
requirements, students from the Victoria University Museum studies course,
and researchers both personal and from other institutions in each of the
aforementioned financial years.

 

Te Papa does not hold all of this information, so aspects of your request
are likely to be refused on the grounds that the information does not
exist; however before we do this we would like to check if you would like
to modify your request in any way.  For the full period stated in your
request, we are able to provide information relating to conservation
interns and volunteers, and students and volunteers working with the art
team.
