Number of drivers found over the limit at police checkpoints
Matt Ellwood made this Official Information request to New Zealand Police
The request was partially successful.
From: Matt Ellwood
Dear New Zealand Police,
I am looking for data about how many people were found to be over the legal drink driving limit, between October 2016, and May 2018.
I am wanting to get this data broken down by: Date of the checkpoint, time duration of the checkpoint, location of the checkpoint, and the number of cars that went through the checkpoint.
We are wanting data to see the trend, taking into account variation of cars on the road and amount of checkpoints active.
Yours faithfully,
Matt Ellwood
