Request for confirmation of ACC staff and Contractors qualifications.

Response to this request is long overdue. By law Accident Compensation Corporation should have responded by now (details and exceptions). The requester can complain to the Ombudsman.

Dear Accident Compensation Corporation,

It would be appreciated if you could confirm whether any of the following 9 ACC staff, and or ACC Contractors listed below currently hold, or have ever held the qualification of Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in Neurosurgery. FRACS (Neurosurgery);

1. Dr William Taine
2. J Plachecki
3. Dr P Jansen
4. Dr Moughan
5. P Carr
6. R Aston
7. L Shaw
8. M Ahern
9. J Funnell

In the event that any of the above listed 9 ACC staff, and or ACC Contractors currently hold the qualification of FRACS (neurosurgery), or have previously held a FRACS (neurosurgery) qualification, please provide the name of the person/sconcerned, together with the date the person/s gained their FRACS (Neurosurgery) qualification, and whether it remains current to date.

I respectfully request that this official information is provided to me under urgency within the next 15 working days, hence by the end of business close on the 15 May 2017, for the purposes of review and appeal purposes associated with ACC decisions.

Under s16(2) of the Official Information Act, my preferred way of receiving a response is by email to the address from which ACC received the original request, not by post.
