Dear Auckland Transport,
Please provide copies of information relating to the design of the 'zebra' crossing located on Carrington Road near the intersection with Sutherland Road, which forms part of the 'Northwestern Cycleway'.
In particular, please provide copies of:
- all communications with public stakeholders including but not limited to Auckland Council, NZTA, Bike Auckland (including any predecessor organisations) and any agents or consultants acting on their behalf, pertaining to design, safety and operation considerations
- all internal communications, meeting agendas and minutes which address the design and safety of this crossing, the stretch of Carrington Road between Great North Toad and Segar Avenue, and the NW cycleway between Novar Place and Great North Road
- all investigations, formal or informal assessments, safety audits and other technical reports relating to the design, safety and operational considerations, including any provided by consultants or third parties.
- all comments, opinions, technical information, assessments and requirements recorded internally or provided externally by the Transport Operations department
- details of the basis for all decisions made by Auckland Transport relating to design and safety for this crossing, particularly in response to any requests or enquiries from public stakeholders, Auckland Council, NZTA, and persons holding public office.
- information on all accidents and incidents recorded for this crossing and the stretch of Carrington Road between Great North Road and Segar Avenue.

Dear Mr Robinson
With reference to your request for information submitted to Auckland
Transport on 8 February 2017 under the Local Government Official
Information and Meetings Act 1987 (LGOIMA), we regret that further time is
required to respond to your request.
Therefore under Section 14(1)(a) and (b) of the LGOIMA, Auckland Transport
is extending the response time to 22 March 2017. This is because
collation of the information is taking longer than anticipated and further
consultation is required.
You have the right in accordance with section 27(3) of the LGOIMA to make
a complaint to the Office of the Ombudsman about this extension.
