Dear Mr Dreys,
I apologise for the delay in responding to you. Our transport staff had to carry out some research to locate the documents you have requested and the collation of the documents has not yet been completed.
I am writing to say it is our intention to supply these documents to you, but I am extending the time frame of the request due to the necessity for a search through a large quantity of information. Our normal practice is to extend the time limit by one month to March 20, however I am confident that we will be able to get the information to you much earlier than that.
I will get back to you soon.
Regards
Arlene Goss

Dear Arlene Goss,
Almost two months have passed since I made this request. I trust you are doing your best on your end, but even so, we are now beyond the extension you made.
Please respond with the information soon!
Yours,
Simon Dreys

Dear Arlene Goss,
Come on now, please hurry things up.
This request has become rediculously overdue.
I'm going to have to make an official complaint to the ombudsman if I don't get a response soon, but that's really not something I feel should be needed to be done for something as mundane as details on a bridge.
Yours,
Simon Dreys

Dear Mr Dreys,
Official information request for BRIDGE OVER RAILWAY information
I refer to your official information request dated 23-January-2017 for
"documentation, minutes, design work, budgeting, communications, and any
other related information regarding the previously proposed cycle and
pedestrian bridge over the railway, from Queens Gardens to Fryatt
St/Thomas Burns St."
The information you have requested is contained in files too large to
attach to an email, so it can be downloaded at the following link
[1]https://filetransfer.dcc.govt.nz/message...
I have made the following redactions:
In documents less than 10 years old I have redacted the names and contact
details of current staff to protect their privacy under section 7(2)(a) of
the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act (1987).
In documents greater than 10 years old I have left the names open to view.
In documents less than 10 years old I have redacted commercially sensitive
information such as contract pricing details to protect the commercial
position of contractors under section 7(2)(b)(ii) of the Local Government
Official Information and Meetings Act (1987). In documents greater than 10
years old I have not redacted price information.
Several old documents have "Confidential" on them. I have considered the
content of these documents and my opinion is that they no longer contain
information that meets the reasons in the Act to withhold. Therefore I
have not redacted them.
You have the right to seek an investigation and review by the Ombudsman of
this decision. Information about how to make a complaint is available at
www.ombudsman.parliament.nz or freephone 0800 802 602.
If you wish to discuss the contents of this information with us, please
contact Transportation manager Richard Saunders at 03 477 4000.
Yours sincerely
Arlene Goss
