Call statistics to Auckland Central Police number
Dan Hawke made this Official Information request to New Zealand Police
The request was refused by New Zealand Police.
From: Dan Hawke
Dear New Zealand Police,
For the twelve monthly periods of to August 2016, can you please provide call statistics for incoming calls to the Auckland Central main line, 09 302 6400?
I am looking for a breakdown along the lines of:
- Number of incoming calls
- Percentage of these calls successfully connected to an operator
- Percentage of calls dropped/given up before being able to reach an operator
- Average/maximum/upper and lower quartile wait times to reach an operator
If you have these broken down by weekday or time periods, that would also be useful.
I would appreciate these in a computer-readable format where possible, e.g. CSV, Excel rather than a scanned PDF.
Yours faithfully,
Dan Hawke
New Zealand Police
Thank you for your email. I have forwarded your request to the appropriate
department.

Hi Tony,
I haven't been able to reach you (I've managed to reach your Voicemail only) - are you able to clarify in writing what it is that's preventing this request from moving forward, as it seems we might work different hours and therefore aren't able to easily reach each other by phone.
Yours sincerely,
