Dear Auckland Transport,
1. Do the ferries that ply the Hauraki Gulf have exemption from Rule 34 of the Colregs (preventing collisions at sea). If not who and how is this policed
2. Are the ferries that ply the Hauraki Gulf subject to exhaust particulate standards. If so what level are they set at and how is compliance ensured
Yours faithfully,

Auckland Transport decided that these questions were not there area of responsibility and passed this request to Maritime NZ (first 20 days) .
Maritime NZ have answered question 1 fully and referred question 2 back to Auckland Transport (second 20 days).
Auckland Transport have acknowledged the request for question 2.
I assume this request which requires 5 minutes of research will take another 20 days
