This is an OIA request to the Aotea Conservation Park Advisory Committee,

Thank you for provide up to date minutes on your website, I would like to request the following documents/information after reviewed your recent meeting minutes:

1. I noted on Item 12 - 2018-2019 Annual report to the Minister of Conservation, you have drafted the report and have you send it to the Minsiter? If you have, may I request a copy of your report been sent to the Minsiter? If not, may I request when it will be send to the Minsiter and when it will become available?

2. I noted on the Item 13 - Director’s Report, The property teams and maintenance was explained. The department is looking into scheduling for maintenance and a plan is being formulated. May I ask what was explained and given the plan is being formulated, may I request to view the plan?

3. I noted on the Agenda Item 14 – Operations Manager’s Report, Judy wants to increase the focus on the wetland area as it is the largest wetland in the Auckland region. George would like more mapping done to refine the wetland area. Judy put forward the concept of ‘weed the wetland’ as a slogan for community interest. Taryn keen to involve youth and community groups. What is the DOC's reponse on that point? It was not clearly articulate in the minutes.

4. I noted on the Agenda Item 14 – Operations Manager’s Report, Judy wants to have a discussion with Jeremy regarding boats coming from Coromandel harbour. I would like to know has the discussion happend and if yes, can you please send me the relevant information/outcome of that discussion.

5. I noted on the Agenda Item 14 – Operations Manager’s Report, Kate wanted to know if there was a specific plan for Aotea. George says yes, he imagines plan for certain places within that plan. May I request a copy of this plan.

6. I noted on the Agenda Item 15 Permissions report, Ken interested in what the institute of Geology and Nuclear science were needing permits for. George and Andrew clarified this. What is the DOC's reponse on that point? It was not clearly articulate in the minutes and what has been clarified?

7.I noted on the Agenda Item 17 (corrected)- Financial Report Amy tabled the latest financial report for ACPAC received from Helen Duff. Nicola thought that the budget could be used to gain more community involvement. Taryn questioned if the budget could be used for advertising. May I request to view the Financial report tabled and what is the reponse to Taryn's question, can the budget used for advertising? It was not clearly articulate in the minutes.

8. I noted on the Agenda Item 18 (Corrected) – Dates and Venues for 2019 – 2020 Committee Meetings, It was not clearly articulate in the minutes, may I ask what has been confirm and what was the proposed Dates and Venues for 2019 – 2020 Committee Meetings?

9. I noted on the Agenda Item 8 (i) (ii) – Policies Public attendance at meetings policy George outlined the policy on public attendance at meetings. He opened a discussion about the committee’s position on public attendance. Nicola suggested that the committee continue with that policy, and that a public forum should be provided within each ACPAC meeting. I can't find the future meeting date and venues available on your website, may I ask how the ACPAC invite public to attend the meeting? Where the public can get these information.

Dear Joanne,

Thanks for your email. I have joined the FYI website since 2017 and have made total of 175 request so far. There has not been an issue so far and my ID has been confirmed in the past. I am not sure why the sudden hassle after my 4th OIA request, is that because I have made too many requests? All my requests are valid and reasonable to hold the GOVT accountable.

For the purposes of the Act, I declare that I am a New Zealand citizen and residing in New Zealand.
