Dear University of Auckland,

How much money has the University spent on external consultants by year
for the period of 2022-2026? Can you please break down the spending by
consultancy firm and/or individual consultant? For what specific job or
purpose was each consultancy firm or individual consultant retained?

Are any of the consultants current or former employees of the University
or partners or relatives of current of former employees of the University?

By what process does the University decide that outside contracting is
necessary? By what process does the University select outside consultants
or consultancy firms? Is there a competitive bidding process?

Are there performance metrics for consultants? If so, are they published?
If not, what are they?

What due diligence is performed to determine whether there are potential
conflicts of interest in awarding these consultancy contracts?
