Tēnā koutou,
I am writing to request information under the Official Information Act 1982 relating to the Ministry’s procurement process for Ministry-funded mathematics resources for 2027–2029 regarding Numicon (supplied by Procon Education).
Specifically, I request:
Copies of any evaluation reports, scoring summaries, or recommendation documents relating to the selection of mathematics resource suppliers for 2027–2029.
Any advice, briefings, or summary documents that outline the reasons why Procon Education / Numicon was not selected as a supplier.
Any documents or advice that support the statement that current Numicon student books will be “out of date from the end of 2026.”
Any advice, analysis, or briefing documents that consider the impact on schools currently using Numicon, including any consideration of costs already incurred by schools or any transition support.
