Kia ora James

Thank you for your email of 10 February 2026 where you have requested the
following under the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act):

1.The certificate of calibration/accuracy for all mobile safety cameras
operated in Christchurch for the Past 12 months 2. The certificate of
calibration/accuracy for all fixed safety cameras operated in Christchurch
for the Past 12 months 3. Any available operator logs, radar setup
confirmation, or audit records for the deployment of Mobile and Fixed
speeds camera in Christchurch for the Past 12 months.

We are processing your request and are seeking clarification of item 3 of
your request for any “available operator logs, radar setup confirmation,
or audit records for the deployment of Mobile and Fixed speeds camera in
Christchurch for the Past 12 months”. While there are no fixed spot speed
safety cameras operating in Christchurch city, we are seeking
clarification of your request because it is currently specified in a way
that would involve retrieving and reviewing hundreds of documents that
would involve substantial research and collation. Given this, we are
considering refusing this part of your request under 18(f) of the Act.

However, we wish to give you the opportunity to clarify this part of your
request so that we can respond with the information you are interested in.
For example, to mobile safety cameras that were deployed in Christchurch
city on a specific day.

Once we have received a response to this clarification email, NZTA will be
able to continue processing your request.
