Request for clarity around the road Markings at the parnell road to ayr st layout

I have made a post in reddit with my edits and questions, this layout doesnt appear to have the correct white lines added, so for clarity I would like to know what the road rules are here

Should one be waiting at the green intersection at square 13, and nowhere else?
And if nowhere else, why is there a solid line before turning into Ayr St? It causes myself and other drivers a lot of confusion.
