Dear Far North District Council,
Please provide Information held by District Council pertaining to vehicle traffic movement and capacity of the Opua-Okiato vehicle ferry system from 2016 to current, including:
- All traffic count data on Aucks Road (in the same time period)
- Daily vehicle crossing data reports
- All ferry capacity analyses (numbers of vehicles able to be carried in both directions hourly
- Ferry wait time (queue length) studies and targets
- Planning documents pertaining to potential expansion of vehicle capacity
- Correspondence with Northland Ferries pertaining to increasing the vehicular capacity of the system
