Dear Requestor,

I refer to your request of 26 November 2025.  The University’s response
follows:

I am requesting the following information for the current MBChB
2026 admission cycle, limited to applicants assessed under the UTAS –
Disability category only.

1. The mean GPA of applicants for both first year and graduate applicants
(combined if required)

GPA statistics held by the University for MBChB admissions are the GPA
used in the admissions process: for first year applicants, this is Core
GPA; for graduate applicants, this is the GPA for their qualifying
programme.

The University does not hold the requested mean GPA statistics for both
first year and graduate applicants as the final ranking process has not
yet been completed.  This part of your request is refused under section
18(g) of the OIA as the information is not held.

Once the final ranking process is completed, we would not provide GPA
statistics for categories with low numbers of applicants.

2. The mean MMI score for both first year and graduate applicants
(combined if required)

The University does not hold the requested mean MMI scores for both first
year and graduate applicants under the UTAS-Disability category as the
final ranking process has not yet been completed. This part of your
request is refused under s 18(g) of the OIA as the information is not
held.

Once the final ranking process is completed, we would not provide mean MMI
scores for categories with low numbers of applicants.

3. The mean UCAT scores for both first year and graduate applicants
(combined if required)

The University does not hold the requested mean UCAT scores for both first
year and graduate applicants as the final ranking process has not yet been
completed.  This part of your request is refused under s 18(g) of the OIA
as the information is not held.

Once the final ranking process is completed, we would not provide UCAT
score data as this is necessary to protect information subject to an
obligation of confidence.

You have the right to make a complaint to an Ombudsman if you are
dissatisfied with this response.

Yours sincerely,

Farleigh Quinlivan
