This is a request for official information under the Official Information Act 1982.
Please provide a list of all government contracts, purchase orders, agreements, or payments made to the following companies, their known subsidiaries, or their primary trading partners, from 1 January 2020 to the date of your response.
List of Companies:
Data, OSINT & Digital Forensics: Palantir Technologies, Clearview AI, Recorded Future, Verint Systems, Cognyte, Babel Street, Cellebrite, Grayshift, Chainalysis, Cybereason, Fivecast.
Defense & Autonomous Systems: Anduril Industries, Shield AI, Skydio, AeroVironment, Ghost Robotics, Scale AI, Dedrone.
Offensive Cyber & Spyware: NSO Group, Intellexa, Cytrox, Candiru, Paragon.
SIGINT, GEOINT & Satellite Surveillance: Maxar Technologies, Planet Labs (Planet), BlackSky, HawkEye 360, TCI (TeleCommunication Systems).
Domestic Surveillance & Biometrics: Flock Safety, Motorola Solutions (specifically contracts related to Vigilant Solutions), Idemia, NEC Corporation, Axon Enterprise.
For each transaction or contract identified, please provide:
-The name of the purchasing New Zealand government agency.
-The date of the transaction or contract agreement.
-The total value of the contract or payment.
- A brief description or title of the goods/services provided (e.g., "Software License," "Data Analytics Platform," "Unmanned Aerial Systems," "Digital Forensics Hardware").
I believe this request is in the public interest as it pertains to the transparency and accountability of government procurement of sensitive, high-risk surveillance and defense technologies.
