Dear Airways Corporation of New Zealand Limited,
Under the Official Information Act 1982, I would like to request a copy of any air traffic control audio recordings and/or transcripts involving Cessna 172, registration ZK-JIP, during its flight from Whanganui (NZWU) to Omaka (NZOM) on 1 September 2024.

Details:
Date: Sunday, 1 September 2024
Aircraft: Cessna 172, ZK-JIP
Route: Whanganui (NZWU) → Omaka (NZOM)

Request: Any available ATC communications between ZK-JIP and Airways NZ sectors (approach mandatory broadcast zones ) during that flight.

I also understand and respect the rebroadcasting restrictions under the Radiocommunications Act 1989 and confirm that any audio provided would be used for personal and private reference only.

Dear Iwase,

Thank you for your response. I was mainly asking for learning purposes — to get more exposure to radio traffic, especially involving controlled airspace. As a student pilot, I’m trying to build confidence and become more comfortable communicating with controllers.
