2025?
3. What is the current status of the “Rotokauri Road and Baverstock Road”
project and timeline for construction start and completion?
4. Can we have a copies of all fliers, letters, or notices used to inform,
or consult, the local community for the “Rotokauri Road and Baverstock

Our response: 

 

Rotokauri Road/Baverstock Road was upgraded as part of the national
Transport Choices programme, administered by NZTA Waka Kotahi. This
initiative was funded through the Government’s Climate Emergency Response
Fund (CERF). 

 

The improvements include raised pedestrian crossings, shared paths,
footpaths, upgraded bus stop infrastructure, and enhanced lighting. These
changes have created safer and more accessible options for walking and
cycling in the area, while also supporting increased use of the popular
Meteor bus service.

3. The Rotokauri Road and Baverstock Road project was constructed between
early July 2024 and late August 2024.   
 
4. Copies of letters to residents in the vicinity of the Rotokauri Road
and Baverstock Road project are attached.
