Information request selection criteria

Dear Health and Disability Commissioner,

Under OIA, please provide:

1) The selection criteria used for the appointment of the current Chief Advisor and Principal Advisor Process Improvement
2) An explanation as to why neither role has ever been advertised externally
3) Copies of the business cases of both roles and details of whether the roles were created with predetermined outcomes of successful candidate
4) Given the pay differences between these two roles and the two Project Leader roles, please provide the financial justification for not disestablishing the Chief Advisor and PA Process Improvement roles (given they are strategic not core business) and instead proposing disestablishment of the Project Leader roles (which are core business and not strategic)
5) A table of the core functions of the Chief Advisor and PA Process Improvement roles and an explanation of why these core functions could not be undertaken and subsumed by the Project Leaders
